Mark is a producer and director from Ljubljana, Slovenia, working on various projects globally. His first filmmaking steps developed through the love of snowboarding and its culture. Being under the influence of the extreme sports and the DSLR revolution, he transitioned from becoming a pro snowboarder into media production.

In 2012, he got picked by a Slovenian snowboard legend Marko Grilc and together they travelled the world to produce the Grilosodes, a 4-season extreme sports documentary series starring Grilc featuring other international snowboarding superstars, streaming on Red Bull TV. In 2013, Mark became Itak! ambassador for Telekom Slovenije, which led him to the ability to produce and direct his first TV commercial with guidance of Pristop advertising agency. In 2019, he founded Studio7 Media d.o.o., a video production agency and studio rental based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, which represents him on the local scene. In 2020, he got his first directing award in advertising for directing Big Bang Uau TV commercial at the 2020 SOF, following by three gold awards for direction, film and art direction categories with A1 Vajb TV commercial at the 2024 SOF. In 2024 he also produced and directed his first documentary film “The Dragon from Koseze”, portraying Goran Dragic at the farewell ending spectacle of his successful basketball career featuring international and NBA superstars.

His portfolio includes work from a diverse roster of clients, including Red Bull Media House, NBC, Burton Snowboards, RTV Slovenija, A1, Telekom Slovenije, Hofer, Spar, Mercator... He got the most of the international recognition for his continuous creative and production collaboration with Slovenian shagadelic rock’n’roll band Joker Out.
